    Windy City Live hosts Val Warner and Roe peppered us with questions about our frugal child rearing habits. Roe is a total skeptic (with a 24 year old daughter that he's somewhat indulged) while Val has hundreds of questions running through her head because she has 2 young kids at home and is wondering what she should do about their financial future.

    At the end of the interview Ji (another host) interviews our daughter Becky, asking her if our frugal habits made her feel deprived. You'll laugh at her answer — especially when she talks about her pricy Ariat Boots.

    Indiana University - Poverty, Health and Nutrition: Resources for the Under Resourced - Keynote

    Steve & Annette will be presenting strategies to feed families better for less (from their book Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half), at the Midwest Leaders in MCH Nutrition Network Conference. The will also be participating in a panel discussion about resources that are available for lower income households.
