The Talk—Shopping Smarter
Our visit to CBS studios and The Talk was one of the nicest we've ever had. The entire crew behind the scenes were super helpful, professional and a lot of fun.
Our hosts were Gina and super-producer Lauren Danza. Even the stage manager Matt (who is a Bob Saget look-alike) and the director EK where awesome.

We were interviewed by Julie Chen and Holly Robinson Peete. They asked some great questions and had a little fun too.
We talked about how we got started saving money, shared some of our shopping tips and why we use walkie talkies when we shop. We also talked about how to save on prepared foods, produce, lunch meat and snacks for their kids. Audience members asked questions about avoiding impulse buys, saving on organic foods and the value of coupons. All of these topics and many more are covered in our book, Cut Your Grocery Bill In Half with America's Cheapest Family.
If you want more shopping tips from frugal friends all around the world browse through our grocery tips section.

video not available
This video through your site, also through your facebook page, and directly through "The Talk" is not available in my geographical region - Portugal. Why? I´ve always been able to view all your other video´s. Can this somehow be rectified? Thanks.

We're working on it
Izzy,
Thanks for letting us know. We're waiting to receive a DVD from the producer. Once we do, we'll post it on our YouTube site and embed it here. Geographic restrictions on the web are strange.
